the Romantic Alchemist.

I gotta start by saying, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this collection from the house of McQueen!!!

After the sudden passing of Alexander{The Great}McQueen,
Many anticipated Sarah Burton's debut collection for the House, and many are sceptical about how would Sarah continue The Legacy that Lee have created so marvelously.
Well, i am a Believer now!!!

Sarah have not only captured the essence of McQueen (which is Romantically Edgy [Edgy Romance] with exceptional and exquisite craftsmanship yet being both wearable and couture at the same time),
but she have also truly injected her own sense of style and point of view.

and it was... All YELLOW!!!

some say Alber Elbaz, others said Riccardo Tisci,
new rising Fashion star-Christopher Kane was also one of the names mentioned!

But, well it's Announced today that
Riccardo Tisci, the Italian born designer whose gothic-inspired creations
are responsible for revitalising the once tired French fashion house Givenchy, has been confirmed
John Galliano did deliver heaps of joy and the message of Optimism with the Vibrant colours he used so exceptionally in the Spring/Summer'11 line for Christian Dior,
like the yellow pieces shown above!

Spread the Optimism, Stop the HATE!!!

Femme Fatale en Rouge!!!

Femme Fatale is French for "deadly woman". A femme fatale tries to achieve her hidden purpose by using feminine wiles such as beauty, charm, and sexual allure.

From the ancient times, we have Delilah, Jezebel, Aphrodite, and of course, Cleopatra the Queen of Egypt.
During WWI, convicted spy Mata Hari made her name synonymous with femme fatale .
Today, we have the iconic Bond Girls, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Mystique as famous figures synonymous with femme fatale.
Even, pop icon Britney Spears announced her seventh studio album will be titled,
Femme Fatale remains an example of female independence and a threat to traditional female gender roles.

Like the Spice Girls always say, GIRL POWER!!!

I'm just Obsessed with this dress by McQueen!

Today, The Sunday Times is reporting that Alexander McQueen‘s protégé and creative director of the label, Sarah Burton, is to design Kate Middleton’s wedding dress for the Royal Wedding(which everyone is really looking forward to).

The news is currently causing a stir on Twitter, but apparently McQueen’s press office is denying the story.

Bravo, Sarah!

R.I.P Lee Alexander Mcqueen!!!
